The 6th International Conference Media for All — Audiovisual Translation and Media Accessibility: Global Challenges, aims to continuously improve and increase media accessibility and language learning/acquisition via subtitling, closed captioning and audio description. This will be the first Media For All conference to be held in the southern hemisphere, and will provide a great opportunity to bring together academics, researchers, practitioners, broadcasters, government agencies, support groups and the translation and captioning industry in Australia as well as around the world to discuss the global challenges of media accessibility.
